The Chicago Bulls (62 wins) and San Antonio Spurs (61 wins) were the only teams to win 60 or more games last season.  These two teams will meet for the only time this season in today’s NBA Game of the Day.

The Bulls, who are looking for their third consecutive win, have won three of their last four matchups with the Spurs.  Bulls All-Star Derrick Rose is averaging 28.8 points and 6.3 assists on 56.7 percent shooting in his last four games against the Spurs

After a spectacular 8-1 Rodeo Road Trip, San Antonio will be looking to start a season-high seven-game home stand with a victory over the Bulls.  Were it not for the fact that Gregg Popovich chose to rest Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker in a 137-97 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, February 21, the Spurs would likely be riding a 13-game winning streak coming into this game.  If the Spurs win tonight they will finish February with an incredible 12-1 record for the month despite playing nine of the 13 games on the road.
