NBA Game of the Day: Philadelphia 76ers at New Jersey Nets

Today’s Games (All times are Eastern):

Monday, Apr. 23 Visitor Home Prediction
7:00 PM Detroit Pistons Indiana Pacers Pacers
7:00 PM Charlotte Bobcats Washington Wizards Wizards
7:30 PM Philadelphia 76ers New Jersey Nets Nets
8:00 PM Toronto Raptors Milwaukee Bucks Bucks
8:00 PM Cleveland Cavaliers Memphis Grizzlies Grizzlies
8:30 PM Portland Trail Blazers San Antonio Spurs Trail Blazers

The Philadelphia 76ers will have an opportunity to clinch the final Eastern Conference playoff berth when they visit the New Jersey Nets in today’s NBA Game of the Day. This will be the fourth and final meeting between these two teams. The Nets lead the season series 2-1.

If Philadelphia wins tonight and ties the series 2-2, the 76ers will also earn their second straight trip to the postseason. Even if they lose, the 76ers can still clinch a playoff spot with a Milwaukee Bucks loss to the Toronto Raptors.

The Nets, who will move to Brooklyn next season, will be playing their final home game in New Jersey before concluding their season with a visit to Toronto on Thursday, April 26. If they can win their home finale, the Nets’ 35-year run of futility and misfortune in New Jersey will end on a somewhat unfamiliar note.
