The 0-2 Los Angeles Lakers, who are trying to avoid the franchise’s worst start since losing three straight games to open the 1978-1979 season, will host the Los Angeles Clippers in today’s NBA Game of the Day. The Clippers opened their season with a 101-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night.
Blake Griffin and Chris Paul will try to lead the Clippers to their first 2-0 start in five years. The revamped Clippers include four former Lakers (Matt Barnes, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom and Ronny Turiaf) which should add intrigue to this hallway matchup.
