2014 NBA Finals

The 2014 NBA Finals were an anticipated and welcomed rematch between the two-time defending NBA Champion Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, whom the Heat had defeated in the Finals the year prior to earn their second consecutive title.  After a 15-point, 110-95, victory in Game 1, the Spurs surrendered home-court advantage in a two-point, 98-96, loss to the Heat in Game 2.  That would be San Antonio’s last loss of the season.  The Spurs won Games 3 and 4 in Miami by a total of 40 points and closed out the series in front of their fans in San Antonio with a 104-87 victory in Game 5, earning the franchises fifth NBA Championship.
